Salty Lemon Studio is Michelle Weston’s means of artistic expression to bring love and light into our world. She is a self-taught watercolor artist and a collector of words. Toxic positivity is not her jam, but she thrives on hope and looking for joy in ordinary places.
Her first watercolor set was given to her by her Dad at the age of 12 and she immediately fell in love with the medium. When her Dad died in 2006, she wanted to name her business in his honor. He would enjoy “salted lemons” as a snack from time to time. So the name “Salty Lemon Studio” seemed perfect.
When she’s not painting, she’s living a happy life in Rochester, NY exploring, hiking, and finding the best spots to eat with her husband, three kids, and their fur-baby, Cooper.
