Megan Farrell of Unstrung Studios is an Occupational Therapist turned full time artist.

Her work blends her love of art and science with personal experiences of disability and illness to create pieces that aim to prove that Anatomy is Not Gross or morbid, but beautiful.

Specializing in pyrography (also known as woodburning), the pandemic has encouraged Megan to expand her artistic practice to incorporate colored pencil, watercolor, and even explore creating anatomical pieces using fiber.
